Chris Granger was at his best when a season narrowed into a bracket. Indiana made the CFP worth 18th, the Ducks drove his NHL entry to 19th, and golf contributed 28th behind a 485.6 total.
His regular-season reads were far less forgiving. Four empty college football shares helped send that card to a tie for 199th. On the NBA board, only 2 of 5 totals landed and Granger shared 206th. Those misses explain why three front-end postseason results had so much repair work to do.
